ConsensusDocs, a premier yearly membership subscription of standard construction contracts utilizing a cloud base technology platform, is searching for a creative, go-getter to lead its sales initiatives. The Sales Specialist will be responsible for retaining current users, and growing sales with new users. The Specialist is responsible for generating, researching, and qualifying new prospect leads through inside sales activities such as cold calls, prospecting, telemarketing and relationship building. In addition, the Specialist will effectively utilize and optimize informational leads from on-going marketing activities and provide a quality customer acquisition experience. The Specialist will devise a sales philosophy with an executable action plan to produce annual growth as directed by the ConsensusDocs strategic plan and budget goals.
Specific Duties include:
Responsible for new sales generation and reporting.
Execution of renewal processes and reporting.
Develop and execute nurturing campaigns to engage and retain membership subscriptions.
Performs research focused on acquisition and retention.
Devise and implements strategies and initiatives to grow database and cultivate business leads.
Make formal sales presentations using Webex and follow-up calls/reach out.
Draft and implement sales e-blasts, mailings, etc. targeted to new and renewal subscriptions.
Attend industry conferences and events to promote ConsensusDocs, as needed.
Provide backup customer support for general inquiries, tech support calls and training webinars.
Identify business growth opportunities, such as resellers, tech companies, integration, etc.
Assist Senior Counsel and Director with special projects.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:
Competitive, goal oriented, ambitious, motivated and self-directed with the ability to sell and close deals.
Team-focused and eager to aid in the success of ConsensusDocs.
Must be able to communicate effectively both formally and informally among prospective and current subscription member clients.
Must be able to deal with rejection and possess good sales judgement.
Must be able to adapt sales tactics by applying knowledge of clients and industries.
Excellent verbal (phone and in person) and written communication skills.
Must be able to gain a working knowledge of ConsensusDocs (including understanding customized technical platform) in order to provide in-depth sales demos, new client online trainings, and customer support.
Sales hunter mentality with quality customer service attitude.
Knowledge of how to use a database (iMis) for research and data input.
A background in legal, construction or inside sales; technology, customer support, marketing, telemarketing or subscription-based services a plus.
