CRN seeks a Government Relations Assistant in Washington, DC to monitor Congressional activity and support its federal and state legislative operation. This position requires an understanding of federal, state and local government policy and procedure. This staff person schedules legislative meetings, plans and facilitates special events, and monitors legislative activity in Congress and the states.
Position requires 1-3 years' experience in a government relations-related field, a college degree, excellent communication (written and oral) and research skills. Attention to detail a must. Legislative and/or association experience is desirable. Minimum travel required.
