Reporting to the Operations Manager, this individual is responsible for performing a variety of administrative functions to support the needs of the organization. In addition, this individual performs various office coordination functions. The performance of duties will be in a manner that recognizes a commitment to CRCC and its customers.
Coordinate arrangements for meetings of the Board and Committees, including meeting scheduling and hotel accommodations/travel for attendees.
Prepare and post/distribute meeting materials.
As directed, follow-up on tasks resulting from meetings.
Maintain the examination reference library and item files.
Assist with development and distribution of routine, electronic communications.
Engage in periodic projects to maintain or enhance data integrity by conducting data entry and/or report preparation.
Office coordination functions
Perform all activities related to mail, including recording cash receipts.
Maintain and operationalize office policies and procedures.
Administer the records retention policy, including coordination of offsite storage and destruction.
Maintain and operationalize the business continuity plan.
Maintain the professional appearance of the office suite and arrange for maintenance as needed.
Maintain adequate office supplies and replenish as necessary.
Essential Job Requirements/Skills
High school diploma required, some college or continuing education preferred, with 2+ years of experience in an administrative or similar position.
High degree of computer literacy with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities within demanding timetables.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Proactive, creative, and innovative approach to problem-solving.
Effective organizational and time management skills; detail-oriented.
Additional Job Functions/Requirements/Skills
Non-profit and event planning experience a plus.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Work above and beyond a 37.5-hour work week may be required at times to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of the position, including some weekend work. This position is non-exempt under the guidelines of FLSA.
