The Junior Producer is responsible for the design and development of online courses and instructional content. They partner with the rest of the Production team and subject matter experts to analyze course and lesson objectives and construct online modules that meet the desired course outcomes.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Design and develop engaging eLearning courses and assessment materials using instructional technology such as Articulate Storyline
Interacts with customer and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content
Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
Create and edit supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, etc)
Maintains templates and customizes content based on information provided
Edits, and produces web-based videos
Requires some travel
Education, prior work experience, and specialized skills and knowledge:
Undergraduate degree or 2 years’ experience in instructional design, educational design, educational technology, video editing, or related field
Manages multiple projects simultaneously from conception through completion
Ability to provide and receive creative direction and feedback
Advanced motion graphic and/or animation experience a plus
Familiarity with SCORM and other eLearning and design technologies preferred
Experience in one or more Learning Management Systems
Able to work independently as a developer managing the demands of multiple projects
