A global health care, non-profit, certification board seeks a professional to serve as part of the senior staff team and direct operational aspects of the organization’s certification program worldwide, focusing on the application processes, administration, and technology solutions. This role supervises several staff team members and oversees the use and maintenance of an online credential management system and related technology and data systems. It also supervises and oversees the seating of candidates for the certification examination. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience with directing the use and maintenance of technology systems, preferably in the certification industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises aspects of the implementation of certification operational policies and procedures that accord with the strategic plan and which adhere to NCCA accreditation standards.
Supervises the use and maintenance of an online credential management system, online application system for non-English languages, and related systems.
Analyzes, recommends and implements technology solutions to improve efficiencies and introduce new capabilities to certification operations and customer service.
Directs processes and procedures for the following worldwide programs: initial certification, recertification and Continuing Education Recognition Points (CERPs).
Supervises staff associated with programs listed above, to include providing direction to a worldwide operations team.
Ensures that testing vendors adhere to examination administration and security protocols.
Directs and monitors activities related to data management, including application entry, data analysis, quality assurance measures and program statistics.
Supervises the exam candidate and certificant communications related to the certification and recertification programs.
Reviews and recommends procedures to maximize quality and efficiency in certification activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Some travel, evening and weekend work required.
At minimum, a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in one of the health sciences or in business administration, with at least 5 years work experience with directing the use and maintenance of technology systems, preferably in the certification industry.
Proven knowledge and experience with best practices for program management technology solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the certification industry for administration of examinations by computer-based testing and use of credential management systems.
Knowledge and experience with NCCA accreditation standards, a plus.
Dedication to continuous improvement and process management.
