The Manager of Training and Outreach will be a key part of the management team, and will interact closely with all aspects of the organization. Reporting to the President & CEO, this job has as its main focus to schedule training sessions and increase industry awareness about the programs and services offered by the Construction Safety Council.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
Build relationships with new and existing clients to ensure continuity of services and support is maintained.
Manage all open enrollment classes including scheduling, marketing and outreach efforts.
Manage all private classes including scheduling, venue selection, and instructor preparation.
Maintain database to track program involvement.
Coordinate with instructors to ensure topics are on point and relevant to the client’s needs.
Maintain training calendar of on-site and off-site program offerings.
Identify and develop, in conjunction with instructors, new program ideas.
Create marketing material to effectively promote services available to all contributors and prospective contributors.
Manage website content and handle all public relations and social media efforts to increase industry visibility and awareness.
Handle administrative and analytical duties to ensure programs are running efficiently, within-budget, and meeting required criteria.
Attend trade shows and conferences as requested.
4-year college degree in a related field, or an Associate’s degree with relevant industry experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing programs, training or other related fields; construction industry and/or safety experience is preferred.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a small office environment.
A desire to make a positive impact on the safety of those who work in the construction industry.
