The Retail ISAC (R-CISC) is the trusted cybersecurity community for retailers, consumer products, grocers, hotels, gaming, restaurants, and cybersecurity industry partners worldwide. Our team delivers on our mission by acting as the conduit for collaboration, threat and best practice sharing, and cooperation. Through building and sustaining valuable programs, partnerships, products and opportunities, the R-CISC enables its members to grow their trust-based relationships, strategic knowledge and tactical capabilities.
The Member Engagement Manager is responsible for building and sustaining relationships with members, identifying member goals and aligning with available programs and benefits, measuring and improving member engagement, and playing a key role in member retention. This position reports to the Director of Engagement and works to support the R-CISC’s overall mission, values, and model as the trusted cyber security community for information security professionals in retail.
Remote: Preference will be given to candidates residing in or in close proximity to Austin, Tx. or Washington, D.C.
Collaborate with the Engagement Director, internal team and community champions to increase member engagement by demonstrating deep understanding of member retailers and their challenges, communicating proactively and frequently, collaborating with the Engagement Team to gain support and drive member engagement and participation in programs, events, content, webinars, and other activites
Work with the Engagement Director to develop and implement engagement programs as they relate to the R-CISC’s mission and goals
Work with the Engagement Director to evaluate existing processes to ensure a high-touch and efficient approach throughout
Collect and effectively communicate valuable member data to inform internal priorities, programs and research efforts
Demonstrate strong understanding of subject matter to participate actively in member discussions
Identify and report on member needs and values to internal team
Work with internal team to coordinate initiation of member invoicing and maintain consistent communications/reporting throughout to ensure timely resolution and a positive member experience
Support the new member onboarding process to introduce members to the community, educate on benefits and opportunities, and identify member needs and values
Develop and maintain member tools and resources to promote awareness of benefits and encourage information sharing
Build relationships with members and influencers through in-person networking events and virtual engagement
Promote members and member-contributed content, make introductions to other members, and encourage relationship building among members
Ensure accuracy of member account information through regular updates and ongoing maintenance
