Permanent part-time position for administrative and customer service manager who will be responsible on a daily basis for membership dues invoicing and processing, new member applications, responding to member inquiries, Career Center assistance, and ensuring our members' ability to engage with the association with ease. Routine data management includes updating and maintaining member on-line profiles, pulling data reports, specialized lists and mailing lists using YourMembership.com association management software. This position also requires conference registration administration for regular attendees, VIPs and exhibitors. Small event management assistance includes tasks such as planning executive and governing board meetings, assisting with small student workshops, shipping, ordering of supplies and other member liaison services.
This employee will require:
1) Extreme organizational skills. 2) Experience using YourMembership.com or a similar on-line AMS program. 3) Excellent grammar and letter writing skills along with good typing speed and accuracy. 4) Exemplary customer-service attitude and problem solving initiative. 5) A willingness to learn about urban and regional planning and to understand the needs of our members in higher education.
Additional Salary Information: Flexible hours are available: 20-25 hours/week based on work-load and time of year. After a 90 day on-boarding period for this position and proof of effective service performance, telecommuting may be allowed. Travel to the annual conference for one week, typically in October, is required with paid travel expenses. Annual FSAE membership included with employment.
