Chief Financial Officer
AFP is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their team!
A Typical Week May Look Like This…
Develop and implement accurate and compliant financial systems and processes (e.g. accounting, budgeting, financial planning, risk management, forecasting, cash management) to drive long term profitable growth of the organization in both domestic and international operations.
Provide financial oversight to ensure the accuracy, efficiency and integrity of domestic and international financial operations and transactions.
Analyze operations and recommends opportunities to increase revenue and manage expenses.
Deliver financial analysis that drives profitable growth in existing programs and new initiatives.
Drive continuous improvements and operating efficiency in functional areas.
Lead with a high-level focus in audit practices.
Lead and mentor the Customer Service, Accounting, and Finance teams for AFP.
Work with investment advisors and the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors to ensure that investments reflect the investment policies of the organization and support AFP’s strategic plan.

Strong background leading cross-functional teams.
Prior experience managing accounting and finance teams.
Strong knowledge of domestic and international accounting practices.
Financial analysis, budget, and tax compliance experience.
Financial regulations and compliance background including GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, 501(c) 6, IRS.
Banking and investment management experience.
Demonstrated ability and commitment to perform hands on, tactical and strategic work in the areas of responsibility.
Clear and concisely convey complicated financial information to stakeholders.
CPA designation preferred.
