AHCA is seeking a Grassroots Specialist with a commitment to improving lives by delivering solutions for quality care. This position will assist in the advocacy and grassroots efforts by managing the AHCA advocacy database and coordinating grassroots communications and events. This position will also focus on producing presentation materials for the Government Relations and Advocacy staff.
Skills & Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required. 1-2 years related experience in grassroots advocacy and/or campaigns. Experience on Capitol Hill preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Motivated self-starter with high level attention to detail.
Produce quality, accurate work with limited supervision.
Must be able to craft exceptional presentations and materials for departmental meetings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and able to work with others in a team setting.
Familiarity with database management (CapwizEngage, Knowlegis, PAC Builder)
Other duties as assigned.
