What you’ll do
You’ll develop, implement, and monitor the relationships with PMI Chapter and PMIEF’s global volunteers to support their ability to leverage project management for social good in their communities. You’ll also partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement a budget and strategic plan for volunteer travel and speaking engagements to support volunteer outreach efforts. and facilitate meetings and learning experiences to enhance the capacity of the global volunteer audience. Additionally, you’ll prepare relevant documentation for new and existing processes, internal and external reporting of organizational outcomes, outreach efforts, and global programs. Furthermore, you’ll deliver in-person and virtual provide training, knowledge sharing, and coaching to team members and volunteers on new program information and opportunities that may be relevant to their responsibilities, as well as information and updates on changes to existing procedures.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, advanced degree preferred.
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience with direct knowledge if program development and design.
Direct successful experience working with senior executives; experience with volunteer Boards preferred.
Ability to perform projects, including taking conceptual discussions and translating into tangible process and procedures through research, self-initiated discussions across the organization, and applied knowledge and experience.
Participation in and strong understanding of a formalized program and/or service model development process to ensure application of best practices to current development work
Experience with program area technology tools, such as Concur Expense and Travel as well as Kanban
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
