ATD is currently seeking a Manager, Enterprise Client Management in our growing Education business line. The successful candidate for this position will lead the function that partners with ATD’s Enterprise Solutions, Facilitator Relations, and Finance teams to ensure successful creation, execution, and logistical management of in-house client training programs. We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional who can effectively communicate with clients to assess needs and design solutions that create results for learners and the organizations they serve. Leads the design of solutions and execution of in-house training programs for ATD enterprise customers.
Participates in business discussions with clients to uncover their needs, determine the audience profile, and scope the services to be performed.
Serve as project lead for a large volume of annual enterprise course deliveries, ensuring strong communication and coordination all cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales/Account Management, Logistics Specialists, Facilitator Relations, Curriculum Development, Operations, and Learning Technology.
Serve as a primary client point of contact after each engagement is confirmed, ensuring transfer of client requirements to cross-functional stakeholders and leading the delivery fulfillment process from initial onboarding meeting to post-course wrap-up.
Lead multi-course, global engagements for new and existing clients, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and establishing project milestones, communication plans, and schedules.
Provide subject matter expertise and sales support to the Enterprise Solutions team to aid in defining, selecting, and proposing learning solutions to ATD clients.
Customize existing ATD courses (including making modifications to curriculum materials) and propose innovative learning experiences, leveraging ATD’s global network of subject matter experts, speakers, and facilitators.
Write content for custom solution proposals that detail training program content, design, formats, outcomes, deliverables, and resources required.
Create and lead standardized procedures that maximize the efficiency and consistency of client intake, custom program development, and logistical communication.
Lead post-delivery debriefs with stakeholders and clients to identify future engagement opportunities.
Partner with Facilitator Relations team to anticipate trainer resources and skillset requirements based on the sales pipeline.
Manage a team of two Specialists responsible for maintaining client delivery schedules and logistical execution of Enterprise engagements.
Experience in a sales support role, ideally related to the development of programs or learning solutions in the training, professional education, or executive education environment.
Proven experience in a customer-facing role with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
Skill is using project management principles, processes, tools.
Understanding of adult learning and instructional design principles is a plus.
Ability to anticipate risk, solve problems creatively, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Operate with a high degree of urgency and solutions-orientation in a fast-paced, complex sales environment.
Capability with establishing and communicating strong, repeatable processes.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively deliver presentations is a must.

The position is based in our offices in Alexandria, VA. No telecommuting. ATD will not pay for relocation. Some travel is required.
