What you'll do:
Maintain the accuracy of the database records via entry of new customer records, updating and formatting name, address, contact information and financial disclosure statements on existing records, and identifying and reducing duplicate records.
Process cash receipts including membership dues and journals, subscriptions, contributions, technical exhibits, advertising, course and various meeting registrations, and all other miscellaneous receivables as directed.
Enter membership applications as directed and process attached payments.
Enter orders including meeting registrations, membership dues and journals, contributions, and all other miscellaneous charges as directed.
Maintain committee data including membership, nominations, positions, activity, and events.
Scan and index documents for digital storage, ensuring document integrity.
Provide customer support to all inquiries from members, subscribers, meeting registrants, and non-members via phone calls, voicemail and email, keeping within the 24-hour guideline.
Enter data from various survey and program evaluation projects.
What you'll need:
High school diploma
Exceptional customer service skills
Great interpersonal communication, including phone etiquette and verbal and written communications
Speed, accuracy and attentional to detail in data entry
Highly organized, with aptitude to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Capacity to work independently and support team effort
Demonstrates ability to take personal responsibility for assigned projects and work as a productive team member
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Familiarity with data entry/management using Personify strongly desired
Willingness to seek further training
Experience in a membership related position and/or communications preferred
Bilingual abilities are a plus
