What we're looking for: We are seeking a talented marketing professional to manage RSNA journals social media presences and strategies. This position will write and edit web content for RSNA websites and act as a resource for journal editorial staff and volunteers. The role also supports broader RSNA copywriting and web communications.

What you'll do:
Manage RSNA journal social media presences on Twitter and Facebook. Manage posting of physician-created content and responding to customer service inquiries on all journals' channels.
Create editorial calendars and write journals social media marketing content (paid and organic), reflecting business needs, initiatives and organizational marketing priorities throughout. Collaborate with journals staff, editorial board members to summarize RSNA journal articles for social media posts.
Monitor journal account social media analytics and develops status reports; use knowledge gained to identify trends and industry-leading practices to apply new thinking and innovation to RSNA journals social media programs.
Actively seek out new audiences to engage with RSNA journals on social media. Propose and launch new social media tactics and channels that suit RSNA marketing objectives.
Maintain communication with journals' staff and editorial board members. Helps address social media-related inquiries from editors in collaboration with marketing staff.
Post web content to RSNA.org and collaborate with UX and UI teams to ensure grammatical correctness, accuracy and adherence to RSNA's style guide.
Write copy that maintains organizational voice and brand standards.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, PR or journalism required
3 - 5 years relevant professional experience in marketing environment
Professional experience with paid and organic social media required; agility to adapt to new platforms as they come online
Experience writing, editing and publishing content in a content management system (CMS)
Basic knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
Ability to use excellent judgment in enhancing and safeguarding RSNA's image in all social media outreach
Ability to maintain high standards of professionalism and develop productive professional relationships
Demonstrates knowledge of analytical and scheduling tools and ability to present summary reports for analysis
Professional writing experience, preferably in healthcare; ability to write for various channels including social media, email and web and various audiences
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills; previous experience with AP style and in-house style guides
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and react quickly to new or changing information
Must be available to work the RSNA annual meeting
