Position Overview This position is responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and other accounting functions of the association.
Hours Part-time 28 hours per week. All in office work, no telework, hours flexible.
Core Responsibilities • Accurate settlement of all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable for ACCE subsidiaries and affiliates. • Manage incoming cash receipts and lockbox receivables. • Monitor, manage and reconcile ACCE credit cards and staff check requests. • Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year end closing processes. • Assist in preparation of annual budget. • Assist in preparation of the Annual Audit. • Prepare and distribute 1099 forms. • Perform general administrative/Staff clerical duties related to the functioning of the Finance Department and the Association. • Respond to internal and external inquiries to ensure the highest quality of service. • Maintain positive relationships with staff, members and vendors to ensure the positive image of the association. • Work with staff to realize the association’s goals through a team effort. • Perform special projects as assigned. • Backup answering the incoming calls.

Experience with Great Plains, FRX or equivalent accounting software. Ability to work independently to meet objectives and deadlines under pressure
