The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, is seeking a Manager, Examination and Licensure Services to work in our Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR) group. This position is responsible for the coordination and administration of functions related to registration and licensure; e.g., transmission of and receipt of examination data for registered dietitian nutritionists, nutrition and dietetic technicians, registered, and state licensure candidates from CDR’s testing agency, the reconciliation of data, verification of examination scores, and communication with candidates and program directors.
Responsibilities: * Manage the Credential Registration and Maintenance System (CRMS) for submitting eligible candidates to testing agency, receiving and storing results, and communicating status to eligible candidates and registered practitioners * Respond to written and verbal inquiries from potential exam candidates, educators and the public regarding registration eligibility requirements, requirements for reestablishing eligibility, content of examinations, application status, and proper procedures. * Manage state licensure processes including communication of examination related updates/changes, receipt and notification of eligible candidates and distribution of examination results to licensure boards * Analyze institution summary reports discrepancies and collaborate with testing agency for corrections. * Manage and maintain confidential files on exam, history of applicants, examination results of individuals and institutions and exam summary reports. * Assist director in coordination of appeal correspondence, webinars, workshops, and RFPs relating to examination development * Provide administrative staff support for various projects as needed; (e.g., exam development meeting preparation, NCCA application preparation). * Responds to customers’ telephone inquiries, voicemails and emails related to CDR examinations, programs and services. * Provides support for various department projects as needed.
* Four year college degree required * 3-4 years of relevant work experience required * Excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and demonstrated problem solving skills are prerequisites of this position * Microsoft Excel and MSWord proficiency a must. AS400 or other database experience preferred.
