Reporting to the Director of Member Development, the Manager of Member Development will be responsible for supporting the Member Development mission of advancing the professionalism and relevance of REALTORS® worldwide through meaningful learning experiences, credentials, and programs. The Manager, Member Development will execute program growth strategies and manage the marketing and promotion of the award-winning Commitment to Excellence Program (C2EX) a cutting-edge professional development program aimed at enhancing the level of professionalism in the real estate industry. The Program provides customized learning paths specific to each individual participant’s preexisting level of skill and knowledge in eleven different competency areas ranging from ethics, advocacy, technology, data privacy, outstanding client service and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and recommend program growth strategies. Work with the Director to execute on those strategies including guideline, timeframe and budget development.
Recommend, develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase member awareness.
Manage external vendors who develop marketing materials, branding, endorsement materials, ads, etc.
Manage tradeshow presence for program, booth logistics, marketing materials, sponsorships.
Manage social media advertising strategies and private Facebook group.
Ensure the member/user experience is first-class.
Collaborate with internal business units such as Legal, Events, Marketing, Communications, IT, Advocacy, as well as “family” organizations such as state and local REALTOR® associations/boards and NAR affiliate organizations.
Support Director and Program Specialist in working with the member committee that oversees C2EX.
Manage member/customer service – develop and execute a “concierge” program for brokers.
Other duties, as assigned
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
5-7 years of experience in strategic marketing and program development.
3-5 years of experience in project management
Maintain the highest level of professionalism and poise when interacting with committee leaders, members and individuals at all levels within the Association.
Results oriented with high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
Ability to think in innovative ways to find solutions to problem
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office—Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation
Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with a high level of response to all inquiries
Ability to travel up to 30%
