Events Coordinator

We are seeking a candidate for the Events Coordinator position in Alexandria, VA. The position is responsible for managing several support services related to event operations and fulfillment. The Events Coordinator will report to the Director, Meeting Planning & Operations and will be a vital piece to the Events team, collaborating with sales, programming, membership, and marketing to ensure event and customer experiences are positive.

Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ experience in meetings or event coordination. Experience in Event Sponsor customer service and Expo/Exhibitor management preferred.
This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during core flexible work hours. Overnight, multi-day travel to the annual conference (spring) and symposium (fall) is expected, with additional out-of-the-area and overnight travel possible. |
