The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) is the primary advocacy organization for the nation’s community colleges. The Association represents nearly 1,100 two-year, associate degree-granting institutions and more than 12 million students. Membership is AACC’s single most important source of support, and the Association’s relationship with its members is the highest expression of our commitment to AACC’s mission of being the national voice of community colleges.
The American Association of Community Colleges seeks an individual to be the first line of contact for the Association’s members. Duties include communicating with members to address and resolve complicated dues and membership issues, coordinating the dues and subscription collection process, generating reports and rosters via the CRM system, creating and implementing comprehensive programs and services to attract and retain members, working with team members to improve and support the eBusiness interface with the CRM system along with developing operational polices/procedures related to the use of the CRM, maintaining membership information on the AACC website, coordinating membership directory updates, and managing the membership budget.
Qualified candidates must have a BS degree and three to five years of directly-related membership experience. Candidates must have the ability to be forward thinking and innovative, demonstrating skills necessary for the growth and retention of membership. Must have proficiency with database management (experience with Personify CRM software system a plus), internet research as well as web content maintenance. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent customer service skills, communications skills, and consistent attention to detail are also required.
