What This Job is About:
This position is responsible for increasing revenue and overall support of AMCP across all product and service lines. These programs include but are not limited to Partnership Forums, Market Insights, corporate training, and the webinar series. This position develops and executes short-term and long-term strategic sales plans and tactics to identify and engage growth partners for AMCP. The individual is responsible for lead development, establishing and maintaining prospecting and sales database (CRM), and networking across AMCP’s membership base, meeting attendees, and overall managed care ecosystem. The Manager, Business Strategies also serves as a liaison to the advertising agency representing the Journal of Managed Care Pharmacy. The individual works closely with other AMCP departments including corporate membership, education, and sponsorship and exhibit sales staff.
More specifically, key responsibilities include;
Develops and executes short-term long-term strategic business plans.
Drives awareness and secures financial support for AMCP programs and services that provide tangible benefits to AMCP stakeholders include corporate members, pharmaceutical manufacturers, managed market agencies, health plans, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and other corporate entities.
Develops leads and identifies potential growth markets.
Establishes and maintains prospecting and sales database (CRM).
Creates relationships with potential customers of high importance to AMCP.
Understands emerging business issues and identifies AMCP engagement opportunities.
Brings forward new opportunities to expand the awareness of AMCP’s value proposition.
Develops the highest quality value proposition for each account related to their engagement with AMCP.
Identifies new product and service offerings that meeting emerging needs of AMCP customers.
Drives sales of AMCP’s corporate training programs, both custom and multi company and in-person and virtual programs. This includes securing sales, identifying AMCP member and staff subject matter experts and working with the client and AMCP staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality programming.
Works with key internal AMCP staff to effectively implement/ fulfill programs sold to the clients.
