Downtown Washington, DC, office seeks a Program Manager/Office Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact and full-time office staff in an otherwise mainly virtual office. Responsibilities include:
Serving as initial point of contact within the organization via telephone, email, and in person.
Taking minutes of all conference call Board of Directors meetings (Three, two-hour meetings per year)
Providing administrative support to the President/CEO as needed, to include maintaining their calendar, scheduling appointments, etc., and assist other staff as needed.
Opening, logging, and tracking incoming payments for accurate accounting.
Fulfilling orders from the virtual store and preparing all outgoing shipments (periodically – this is not a large function of the position).
Additionally, the Office and Program Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
The successful execution of AUPHA prizes, fellowships, and awards (currently four), to include maintaining and following accurate timelines and project management plans. The nature of these programs are cyclical, with the heaviest workload falling between the months of January through May, with no time commitment in the off season.
