The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is looking for an association management professional to join our team reporting to the Director, US East. The Manager, US East Region will provide guidance to the chapters, chapter leadership and the Regional Council members consistent with the mission and vision statements of the Global Organization. The Manager, US East Region will advise chapter board officers on standard chapter operations and best practices. The primary goal of the Manager is to enable healthy, growing chapters that consistently deliver the EO brand to their members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a portfolio of 8 chapters, building relationships and helping to provide a valuable member experience.
Serve as main point of contact for Presidents, Chapter Staff, and Member Leaders of those chapters, working with them to resolve all questions and concerns.
Help chapters with a variety of issues throughout the year with the main goal in mind of putting the chapter in the best possible position to succeed.
Provide clear and concise communication regarding the direction and requirements of the Global Organization to the chapters.
Promote the PEAK checklist and keep Presidents informed on upcoming items as well as their chapters’ status towards achieving the overall goal.
Aid in chapter strategic planning and execution during annual summit meetings, monthly area calls, and other scheduled chapter events.
Serve as the staff liaison to three Area Directors and support them in delivering support to their assigned chapters.
Promote the EO Strategy Summit program and assisting staff in planning. Attend somewhere in the range of 10-15 summit meetings annually
US East Regional Programming
Serve as the staff liaison to the Member Growth Director and Member Experience Director.
Work alongside member leaders to drive lead generation efforts for the region. This includes HubSpot, Facebook ads, and member test drives.
Support external communications for the region in an effort to drive awareness and membership growth.
Manage a HubSpot contractor.
Help to EO Accelerator growth.
Assist in tracking Strategic Alliance Partners for the region.
Attend at least three EO leadership and membership conferences per year.
Assist the Staff Regional Director in preparing for the annual Presidents’ Meeting, Alignment Meeting, Global Leadership Conference, and Nerve.
Assist the Staff Regional Director in preparing for Regional Council Meetings (3-5 annually), specifically with event logistics.
Video Conference Meetings – Weekly staff huddle, monthly EO all-staff meeting, monthly membership, weekly one-on-ones with staff, monthly Regional Council, project meetings as required.
Possibility to lead other Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Experience with HubSpot and/or other lead generation services.
3-4 years professional experience, preferably in a nonprofit/association/membership organization.
Excellent organizational and customer service skills
Event and logistic experience preferred.
Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Slack, Basecamp, SamePage, CRM, etc. preferred.
Ability to interact with entrepreneurs with tact, diplomacy and poise
Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
A self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job

Promotes cultural competency and global awareness
Establishes relationships proactively; shows genuine interest in the needs and concerns of others; maintain a positive attitude; build networks
The employee may be required to work in a high-rise building equipped with elevators in an environment where the noise level is usually moderate. May be assigned to an internal work space without windows to the outside, located in close proximity to other office personnel.
Professional workplace where business casual attire is required.
Ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment.
