WHAT THE LMS ADMIN DOES
Develops and maintains the learning management system (LMS) in order to meet all regulatory compliance needs and ensure data accuracy and integrity;
Performs multiple, high-level administrative functions in support of all education programs, available in the LMS
Creates and manages learning content
Leads in the development and administration of the learning management system, training records, associated templates, certificates, and reporting
Manages LMS functions which include monitoring course content, course approvals, and evaluation processes ensuring processes are completed within given timeframes;
Maintains data integrity rules and processes for the LMS, such as course descriptions, course or class changes, and instructors
Creates/publishes/archives online/instructor-led courses, assigns training curricula, adds/deletes resources, monitor accounts, reset passwords, and maintain system parameters;
Administers LMS and third party servers, user accounts, and network security, including maintenance of security roles and membership access levels;
Evaluates business requirements related to using and configuring LMS application, including communication and integration with other organization applications. Works with other ASPS stakeholders, such as business technology (BT), and external stakeholders
Provides system maintenance which includes upgrades and updates, configuration, troubleshooting, debugging, and user access testing; Investigates and resolves any data or system discrepancies
Develops mechanism to accurately track new, deleted, and revised items in the learning management system including assessments, standalone content, and courses
Provides ongoing technical support to all learners and internal stakeholders, such as education staff and faculty
Other projects as assigned
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of two years experience with learning management system or other system administration
Experience with Crowd Wisdom Learning Management System a plus
Knowledge of SCORM, AICC, and/or xAPI eLearning standards preferred
Advanced understanding of HTML and editing tools
Understanding of current digital instructional design best practices, user design experience, and adult learning principles
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and presentation skills with an engaging facilitation style
Works independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced productive work environment.
Builds effective relationships at all levels within the organization and with outside vendors.
Experience in project management and agile processes is a plus
