The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) seeks an individual to complete a variety of logistical support and administrative tasks for the President and CEO. Duties include scheduling and prioritizing an extremely active calendar, serving as the point-of-contact for speaking engagements and requests for appearances, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external constituencies while sustaining their email distribution lists, reconciling the President/CEO’s travel and credit card expenses, preparing, proofreading, and managing correspondence, monitoring calls and relaying messages, and maintaining executive databases/filing systems. Duties also include coordinating and compiling documents for meetings, as well as preparing, recording, and disseminating meeting notes. Incumbent will also provide support to the Secretary of the Board, as needed.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and four years of progressively complex administrative and scheduling experience, preferably supporting a CEO or C-suite member. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as stellar verbal, written, & proofreading skills. Must be proactive and have proven organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks as well as exemplary interpersonal skills to serve as a trusted member of the Executive Office team
