The American Truck Historical Society (ATHS) is the premier membership body for the preservation of trucks, the trucking industry, and its pioneers. This 50-year-old 501(c)3 seeks a creative and dynamic Fundraiser to provide leadership, strategic direction, management, and coordination of all fundraising and business development efforts.
ATHS is a challenging organization, unlike those you have experienced previously. Being a hobby group, the only common thread amongst the membership is a love for old trucks. Members are from all walks of life and at every social stratum. Previous fundraising exercises have met with mixed reactions, from high success to worrying. Creativity and stick-with-it-ness will be the keys to success.
