The Independent Bottlers Association (IBA) has initiated a search for an Executive Director to serve as the strategic and tactical leader of the IBA reporting to the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is the primary liaison to Pepsi Beverages North America and Keurig Dr Pepper and is charged with the execution of strategies and tactics consistent with the mission of the IBA. The Executive Director will recommend strategic goals and tactical plans focused on the perpetuation and growth of the multi-generational businesses of the IBA membership and be responsible for executing same.
The Executive Director will oversee day-to-day operations, collaborate with the Board of Directors, act as the primary spokesperson to PBNA and KDP on behalf of the membership, and recommend strategies and tactics to profitably grow the member’s Route To Market in their respective territories. Regular travel will be required to member locations as well as NY and TX.
The IBA seeks an individual with senior-level beverage industry experience, familiarity or background in DSD, route-to-market, and market transformation. The Executive Director must have strong leadership, management and communication skills, and be able to work effectively with diverse groups both internally and externally, have a firm understanding of sales and marketing of beverage products, EBA’s, EDA’s and RTM transformative proposals.
The successful candidate will have strong negotiation skills, and be able to influence others incorporating cogent, fact-based tactics.
