We are seeking a highly skilled and proven Graphic Designer to be an integral part in the success of advancing endocrinology and improving public health within an innovative global community. Under the direct supervision of the Associate Art Director of Creative Services, the incumbent creates, develops, and produces high level designs for both print and online marketing collateral. This is a highly collaborative role working across functional areas to create highly visible graphics and content which aim to impact external engagement. Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to understand the vision of diverse cross-functional stakeholders and translate into creative outputs. This individual’s passion for graphic design should be reflected through their approach to collaboration, design conceptualization, creative outputs, and dedicated work ethic.
What you’ll bring to the job:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, fine arts, or related field.
3-5 years of professional graphic design experience in either an agency or in-house environment. Association experience highly preferred.
Strong aesthetic sense and awareness of brand identity; solid understanding of design principles and tools while demonstrating a sharp attention to detail.
Must possess mastery skills in design, typography, negative space, color theory, proper layout techniques using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Bridge), MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
Enthusiasm about having opportunities to drive multiple projects and priorities forward simultaneously and possess the ability to effectively prioritize.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service skills, organizational skills, and conceptual creativity.
Excellent interpersonal, consensus building, and conflict resolution skills required to work collaboratively in a team environment, with peers, stakeholders, and vendors.
Experience with both print and online design, as well as working with printers and other vendors.

What you’ll own:
Serve as the primary designer for Clinical Endocrinology Update and Endocrine Board Review (CEU/EBR), EndoCares, ad hoc requests, and other assignments as needed.
Under the direction of the Associate Art Director of Creative Services, act as a gatekeeper of the Endocrine Society’s brand standards, both internally and externally, ensuring that all marketing content is effective, engaging, and on brand.
Develop and design layouts within the scope of our products. Product responsibilities include programs, exhibitor prospectus, direct mail, flyers, posters, print ads, publication covers, catalogs, brochures, outserts, signage, infographics, email template graphics, web banner ads, website graphics, social media graphics, logos, etc.
Conceptualize, design, illustrate, and implement compelling creative graphics and content.
Collaborate cross-functionally to produce marketing designs that are aligned with the project’s vision. Facilitate creative briefings with stakeholder’s to thoroughly understand goals, expectations, vision, and audience. Projects include the following areas, but are not limited to:

Sponsorship and Development
Create production schedules for assigned projects and manage time to ensure first draft, edits, second draft, final, etc. are completed before due date to ensure deadline is met.
Manage and adhere to delegated assignments and workflows within our Creative Service Work Request Form process. Efficiently work within the stated applications to ensure project completion meets specifications and deadlines.
Ensure project milestones are met and communicate updates to Associate Director, Creative Services and stakeholders.
Manage and coordinate work with outside agencies, art services, printers (etc.) to meet expect deadlines of deliverables.
Prepare and package final artwork to be submitted to print vendor.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops and reviewing professional training opportunities to stay up to date with the best practices, new technologies, and the design community.
