Community Manager wanted (10 hours monthly) for a growing non-profit association.
The Community Manager will conduct work that includes strategy and monitoring of the association's community on the Higher Logic platform, including but not limited to: daily monitoring and maintenance, flagging posts that are inconsistent with the association’s policies, dealing directly with members on posts/technical issues, managing email delivery issues, management of automated community functions, collection of monthly metrics for tracking purposes, participating in association meetings as requested, and supporting association staff and volunteers.
Community management experience, preferably in an association or non-profit environment.
Experienced and proficient in Higher Logic community technology.
Accurate, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting assigned deadlines.
Must be highly self-motivated, able to work autonomously and with a virtual team.
College degree preferred.
Foster and build relationships within all levels of the organization.
Adapt quickly to new information, requirements, and priorities.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Intermediate-level proficiency using MS Excel required.

As a remote contractor, the Community Manager shall furnish all tools and equipment necessary to perform the services.
