The purpose of this job is to serve members, key partners, customers, and co-workers.
This position works with the Learn Management Team to develop and design digital education programming, including live and on demand courses. This includes course design in our Learning Management System (LMS) using HTML, editing video and other digital assets, creating SCORM courses, faculty management functions, marketing coordination, Zoom logistics and session hosting, and data collection and analysis.
Development and Delivery of Digital Programs 90%
In collaboration with the Director, Professional Development and Director, Content Strategy, oversees the development and delivery of digital programming (e.g. webinars, live and on demand courses, tutorials, self-study programs and other digital learning products) using leading edge instructional design principles.
Oversees the overall learner experience in the LMS, including navigation, branding, look and feel, and course library.
Collaborates closely with the LMS supplier to understand, and potentially beta test, new features that may be used to enhance ACHE’s digital offerings.
Coordinates logistical activities for digital learning. Maintains a library of all courses, manages all faculty communication and coordination, including contracting.
Facilitates work with the Department of Marketing to submit program information for the web; reviews copy for digital promotions.
Working cooperatively with the Director of Professional Development and publications team, reviews and analyzes program evaluation reports and other data for all digital learning programs, making recommendations for improvements.
Reviews proposals for new digital learning activities.
Alongside the Director, Professional Development, responsible for developing the budgets for digital learning.
Development and Delivery of Courseware for Higher Education/Self-Studies 10%
Alongside the Vice President, Publications, and Director, Content Strategy, reviews, assesses, and recommends approaches that maximize the opportunity for digital courseware development targeted to the higher education audience.
Manages the digital self-study series in coordination with the Health Administration Press team.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required in education, instructional design or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a similar role with demonstrated working knowledge of the principles and practices of instructional design and digital learning, preferably in a non-profit or association environment.
Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience managing multiple cross-functional projects.
Proven expertise in creation and delivery of digital learning, with deep experience in digital editing, HTML, and SCORM. Detailed knowledge of Zoom Meeting and Webinar.
Experience with Path LMS a plus, or extensive knowledge of LMS platforms and how to optimize existing tools to benefit the learning experience.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow-through on tasks under frequently changing structures, requirements, and work priorities.
Strong project leadership, organization, integration, and execution skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to initiate and develop productive working partnerships with key stakeholders, faculty management and leadership enterprise wide.
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, negotiation and conflict management skills. Experience moderating and facilitating a variety of live events with a conversational and approachable style.
Ability to facilitate communication between diverse groups; effectively identify, assess, and facilitate improvements and resolutions and present recommendations to all levels of management and leadership.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative and team environment.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must possess sound judgment, discretion and a high degree of professionalism.
Must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding organization and personnel information.
