IEEE, the world’s largest professional organization advancing technology for the benefit of humanity, seeks an administrator to coordinate the IEEE Board Directors and the IEEE Assemblyprocesses; ensuring that members have the information necessary to be knowledgeable and fully participating volunteers.
As the Board Administrator, you will support meetings by writing and editing agenda submissions; coordinate with staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation; create and distribute information for meetings; ensure that all media (webpages, intranet and leadership portal) reflect accurate information.
Work in accordance with the IEEE Constitution, IEEE Bylaws, IEEE Policies, procedures, and precedents, and help advance the mission and objectives of IEEEthroughcollaboration with all stakeholders.
* Bachelor’s or equivalent experience inBusiness Administration, Communications or related field
* 2 – 4 years working in an association governance or corporate/board affairs environment preferred
* Critical and analytical thinking and communication skills
* Ability to discreetly handle confidential information
* Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Related background in industry supporting large business unit/corporate governance meetings will be considered
