Flexographic Technical Association is seeking a marketing and communications manager to drive its marketing initiatives for a range of products and services, across multiple mediums.
Reporting to the vice president, you will be responsible for the planning, creation and execution of campaigns supporting conferences and events, training and certifications, membership, publications and awards, encompassing print, email, digital and social media.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication and managerial skills, who knows what strong messaging and design look like, and who has experience working collaboratively with internal stakeholders. The marketing and communications manager will also define key performance indicators to track success and refine strategy on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead all marketing initiatives: email, print, social media, digital
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders encompassing conferences and events, training and certifications, membership, publications and awards
- Engage with B2B customer base and identify unique demographic traits to tailor campaigns and boost conversion
- Lead projects from ideation to execution, balancing individual business unit needs while adhering to marketing best practices and overall company objectives
- Manage company brand and work with creative manager to ensure alignment across all deliverables and messaging
- Develop KPIs to quantify successful campaigns and opportunities, measure growth, and improve overall brand awareness with current and prospective customers
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (in marketing, communications or other related field)
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with proven results
- Proven writing and editing skills that can be applied to all channels and mediums
- Balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on work
- Success growing and managing email marketing; developing content and social strategy; and building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Ability to analyze and make use of insights derived from Google Analytics, email analytics and social media metrics
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing intangibles (conference/exhibition/webinar) vs. tangibles (publication/certification/magazine)
- Knowledge of modern marketing trends and their application in a B2B environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Self-starter who can take input, gather material and create results
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn industry intricacies, including fundamental processes, technologies and jargon
- Confidence and competency in your work, with an analytical mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at a membership-based association
- Familiarity with Asana and Zoom
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
