This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the IIA. The Sr. Manager of Marketing is an exciting opportunity to take on a high-impact, highly visible individual contributor role to develop and deliver marketing programs that address the internal audit profession. You will be managing everything from large scale brand awareness campaigns to small marketing projects in all mediums of marketing including digital, print, content, advertising, PR, and social. You are equally comfortable thinking about the user journey and experience, as taking a rigorous data-driven approach, obsessed with channel performance and creative in unlocking new strategies, and optimizing each communication touchpoint of the member journey. Amongst other channels, you will leverage emails, direct mails, landing pages, paid media, social in conjunction with the Digital Experience team and constantly strive to improve full funnel KPIs.
Define and execute the marketing strategy with a focus on digital channels (i.e. email, paid and organic social, search, display, OTT, and more)
Develop go-to-market strategy for the IIA’s Portfolio of product offerings
Responsible for highlighting and spotlighting the brand across our business lines and mapping the customer journey (from new member webinars to customer relations assistance).
Working with the creative team, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
Conceptualize and execute on multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
Develop and execute integrated campaigns to help tell a story and build linkages between product lines
Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
Drive day-to-day channel operations while supporting the development of our long-term marketing strategy
Responsible for end-to-end execution of campaigns from briefs to creative development, media planning, campaign execution and measurement
Grow and manage the marketing function within the organization
Execute detailed analyses of campaign effectiveness including segmentation, creative targeting, and cohort analysis
Support the creation and promotion of content that addresses the needs of customers and generates growth
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or similar.
7+ years experience in marketing
Experience with writing and creative storytelling with ability to spot opportunities and communicate them artfully and persuasively
Strong project management skills including excellent organization, ability to prioritize, with hands-on experience managing initiatives from start to finish
Experience in marketing plan/strategy/timeline development
High curiosity, drive, and determination
Consultative skills and experience
Strong experience driving change, building capability, and engaging with senior level stakeholders
Exceptional research and analytic skills.
Excellent computer skills with programs such as MS Office.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
