The American Urological Association (AUA), the premier urologic association providing support to the urologic community, is currently searching for a Grants Coordinatorposition.
This position prepares and ensures timely submission of post-activity documentation and deliverables, including interim reports and reconciliations for AUA industry-supported education, actively participates in identifying potential government and foundation grants, and assists with the development and submission of government and foundation grants.
This position is located in our headquarters office in Linthicum MD. Our office is near the BWI airport. We are required to be in the office on Tuesdays/Wednesdays with remote working on Mondays/Thursdays/Fridays.
Typically
The individual in this position:
Acts as a key contact for educational grant interim reports and reconciliations to the urologic industry.
Works with Grants Director to research and identify opportunities for government and foundation grants.
Provides support as needed for the development and submission of government and foundation grants.
Manages the development of interim reports and reconciliations, including budgets and outcomes data, and timely industry partners.

To be Successful
Candidates must be able to provide superior service delivery while working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. It is essential that the individual in this role have strong attention to detail, initiative and networking competencies. In addition:
Bachelor’s degree required
Two plus years’ experience in continuing medical education, grant submissions, and/or educational outcomes
Excellent written and oral communication skills
An aptitude for reviewing, collecting, and analyzing data
Consistent ability to meet deadlines
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly deadline-driven environment
Ability to travel to AUA Annual Meeting as needed
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries helpful
Knowledge of ACCME Standards for Commercial Support beneficial
Proficient level in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
