In this role, the Program Manager will handle industry alliances and related programs of the IEEE-ISTO to ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of all contracted support services. The Program Manager will be expected to build strong relationships with key entity stakeholders while identifying and promoting tactical and strategic initiatives that effectively support entity missions and goals as well as expand IEEE-ISTO's contracted business and revenue stream.
The Program Manager role is diverse, creative and hands on. It involves the execution of various support services while concurrently monitoring the boundaries of the contracted resourcing to preserve operational efficiencies. The Program Manager will need to attain in-depth knowledge of all aspects of assigned alliances in order to effectively monitor the health and robustness of all assigned entities; identify challenges to the entity achieving its goals and/or supporting its mission; and help to formulate/share strategies to counter areas of weakness.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* 4 – 7 years’ experience in association management or a high technology organization
* Experience working with industry outside of the US
* Excellent communication and presentations skills with ability to effectively interact with all levels of executive management
* Ability to communicate financial, marketing and legal information to technical volunteers
* Strong project management skills
* Proficiency in MS Office and other web-based tools
* Technical background as well as association management and/or governance background a plus
