Position Description: The Membership Services Coordinators primary responsibility is membership engagement, recruitment and retention activities for the Society. The position also coordinates the Judicial and Peer Review Committee activities.
Membership Committee:
Engagement, Recruitment and Retention
Outreach regarding programs and involvement
Dental/Pre-Dental students involvement in GHDS
New dentist participation and programs
Respond to general inquiries regarding GHDS membership and programs
Committee liaison
Judicial & Peer Review Committees:
Respond to inquiries from the general public
Process inquiries received to respective committee
Committee liaison
Tripartite Relations (ADA and TDA)
Coordination of shared membership programs
Coordination of monthly reporting
Coordination of membership data updates
General
Provide resource information to members and consumers
Encourage participation in GHDS committees and programs
Attendance at and support of GHDS activities (general meetings, networking, education, Star of the South)
Other duties as assigned
Technical Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in, Instagram)
Proficient in email marketing platforms
Other Skills/Requirements:
Associate degree; work experience will be considered
Nonprofit experience required (2 years minimum)
Ability to work evenings/weekends (Zoom and in-person meetings)
Superior organizational skills
Attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Capable of setting goals, creating timelines and meeting them
Self-motivated; able to work independently and in a team environment
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and physically capable of arranging rooms for events
