We are seeking a highly skilled, inquisitive and motivated individual to join our team as a Member Database and Systems Analyst. This role involves overseeing the member database software, managing member systems, and actively contributing to data initiatives through dashboard development and analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in association membership, database management, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in leveraging data for informed decision-making.

Administer and maintain the member database software, ensuring accuracy, security, and efficient data retrieval.
Implement data quality control measures and regularly update and cleanse member information.
Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Familiarize with and evaluate current software and platforms and consider transitioning or upgrading to fit the organization’s growing need. Firstly, our Association Management System (AMS).
Act as a point of contact for member inquiries and support, ensuring a positive member experience.
Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for members, ensuring accurate and timely updates in the database.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.
Data Analytics Dashboard:
Downloads data from multiple systems and reporting databases, uploading it to analytics system, develops and disseminates reports to end users.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of data analytics dashboards, utilizing tools and platforms for visualization.
Provide regular reports and analysis to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and performance indicators.
Training and Documentation:
Develop training materials for database usage and member services processes.
Conduct training sessions for staff members on database management and analytics tools when needed.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for database procedures and member services protocols.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with IT, marketing, meetings & events and other departments to integrate database functions with organizational processes.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, understanding their needs and translating them into database and service improvements.
Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to align database and analytics efforts with organizational goals.

Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Proven experience in database management and administration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analytics and reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with member services and customer relationship management (CRM/AMS) principles.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Association Analytics.
Previous experience in a customer service or member services role.
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
For VECCS Annual Symposium (IVECCS), which is 5 days in September or October, you will be required to travel up to 8 consecutive days, typically including a commitment of evening and weekend work. Duties assigned during IVECCS may be related to your job description or assigned as needed to produce a successful event. Conference-related tasks may include long days on your feet, lifting, packing, walking, etc. In addition, the person in this position may be asked to attend conferences around the country as an exhibitor to promote VECCS or as an attendee for Continuing Education.
