State trade association seeks full-time CEO. Essential dues and responsibilities include carrying out the policies and overall strategies of the board with significant emphasis on formulating public policy. Full strategic and operational responsibility for lobbying, analyzing and managing legislation, public relations, membership recruitment and supervising education programs. Position start date is 9/1/24 and is based in Albany, NY – no exceptions.
Candidates must possess minimum 10 years of experience at an association and 5 years lobbying. Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university mandatory. Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation highly desired and experience in the financial services sector preferred.
